POP-UP WORKSHOPS
I am planning Southern African teaching tours through 2022 where every aproximately 7 weeks I will be in new locations offering a number of one-off workshops in many genres within Middle Eastern Dance that you can attend on zoom! The upcoming teaching tour 8-9-10-11-12 JULY looks like a prop-shop weekend with requests coming for sword and wings! Plans are underway to make budget-friendly group trips to Egypt September 2021/ April 2022/ August 2022! The group trips are all about "going local" with time explore, a group of like-mnded dancers to enjoy the awesome dancer shows/workshops in Cairo with PLUS a bunch of sensational opt-ins like yoga/meditation sessions at powerful ancient sites with trips to Sinai and Dahab. "Foundation of Dancing with Classical Arabic Music" COURSE:
This is a momumental 12-part course encompassing history (both theory and practical), technique and the development of personal style. The works of the great Silver Screen , later Golden Age and major musical artists are covered in lectures and choreographies - suited to advanced/professional dancers only (the 4-hour workshop segments of each module are high-paced and detailed). This course is ideally taught live and in a small group, so get in touch (if this interests you) as it looks like another group may start this course soon.
