This is a great way to be introduced to Beverli's teaching method for more experienced dancers who want to build expertise in Middle Eastern Dance. There are one-off workshops you can join in person or on zoom, so click through if you are coming to book in or find out more workshops or pro courses.

BELLY DANCE TECHNIQUE
There are MANY Technical Schools for Belly Dance, some more detailed than others! My technical school is UNIQUE... sculpted from: - Lifetime studies in locomotion dynamics (multi-disciplinary over 40 years), health and fitness safety and body regeneration principles (built on both teaching yoga for 20 years and healing my own body from multiple debilitating long-term injuries- Oriental Dance technical modulation formulated with my first teacher in Belly Dance (also a Yogi) with whom I sat and combed inner muscle and joint action of the legendary star dancers (Taheya Carioca, Samia Gamal, Naima Akef etc) trained within Badia Masnby's original technical school of modern Oriental Dance (I am the only teacher from this lineage)- Natural (bloodline) responses to the music, training heavily in folklore with origin teachers across a wider Middle Eastern area and long-term coaching by Amani of Lebanon in Oriental Musicality over and above the years of dancing to master musicians and a full 50-piece orchestra for a decade (trained by ear and by heart as per the Eastern method). I have deeply developed theory on the link between Belly Dance technique and Oriental Musicality.
